FAQs

You might be wondering...

We have two services, one at 10:00 a.m. and a second at 6:00 p.m.  In July and August, the evening service is held outside on the lawn west of the church building.

For your choice of seat, aim to arrive about 15 minutes prior to the service start time.  Ushers are available to help you find a seat.

During the school year, Sunday School is held before the morning service at 9:00 a.m. with classes for K-adult.  Children and teens meet in classrooms downstairs; adults meet in the Fellowship Hall.  Enter via the east main door.

Our address is 7950 Churchill Road, Manhattan, MT.  We’re known as the big white church on the hill, and we are adjacent to Manhattan Christian School.

From I-90, take the Exit 288 for Manhattan and Amsterdam.  Head south on Churchill Road, away from the town of Manhattan.  Enjoy a drive (about 10 minutes) through the farmland with the Spanish Peaks in the distance.  Continue along Churchill Road into the Hamlet of Churchill, past our daughter church – Bethel CRC, to the big white church.

The easiest access to the sanctuary is from the south doors, the old main entrance facing the road.  An elevator is available.

All other rooms are most easily accessed from the east doors, the new main entrance facing the parking lot.

We begin our service with songs of worship, lead by one of our various praise teams.  We then take time to confess our sins to the Lord and are reminded of his redeeming grace.  We pray together for the needs of our congregation, our community, our country, and our world, and then have the opportunity to give to one of the various ministries our church supports.  In the morning, children ages 3 through 3rd Grade are invited forward for a special children’s message, and then the children ages 3-4 are welcome to attend Tot Church downstairs.  The rest of us deepen our understanding of God and His people as we engage with a challenging message from Pastor Tim.  We close with additional worship songs.  A morning service tends to last approximately one hour; an evening service tends to run a bit shorter.

We celebrate Holy Communion quarterly during the morning service.

Yes!  Supervised nursery is available for children from birth through age 2.  The nursery is located downstairs.  The simplest access is from the east doors, the new main doors facing the parking lot.  Inside the church, turn left past the mailboxes to find the staircase.  At the bottom of the stairs, turn right.  The infant nursery will be the first door on the left after the women’s bathroom, and the toddler nursery the second left.  (To enter the sanctuary afterward, head back past the stairs to the end of the hallway, turn left, and head up the stairs beyond the doorway.  This will bring you to the south foyer so you can enter the sanctuary from the back.)

Parents use their own discretion on graduating their child from “infant” to “toddler”.

2-year-olds have the option of attending a special pre-Sunday School class.  This class takes place during the first half of the service in the room past the toddler nursery.  Children are escorted by their teachers to the toddler nursery for the second half of the service.

Please pick up your child(ren) promptly following the conclusion of the service.

Does decaf count?

Coffee, juice, and cookies are served after the service in the Fellowship Hall (or outdoors on the lawn in the summer, weather permitting).  Just follow the crowd out the front of the sanctuary!

If you have children in nursery or Tot Church, please pick them up prior to grabbing refreshments.
