What is Cadets?

From the national Calvinist Cadets website:

Cadets offers a “club” atmosphere. Uniforms and routine help to instill a healthy pride in its members. Cadets offers merit badges and certificates to honor achievement. Cadets offers a safe haven where good behavior and productivity are expected. Cadets offers a mentoring relationship with a Christian man who will take interest in each of the five or six boys in his cadre.

Cadets is a program for boys in grades 2-6.  They meet in the "Cadet House" on Wednesday evenings at 7:00-8:30 p.m. starting in the fall and throughout the school year.  The Cadets meet for Bible study, community service work, woodworking, car and rocket making, and other fun projects.  In the summer, they plan activities such as camping and canoeing.

Cadets is a non-denominational ministry offered by a variety of churches and Christian organizations in the United States, Canada, and abroad.  All boys are welcome, regardless of church affiliation.
