99.1 KCMM The One, our local Christian radio station, featured a Holy Week devotional series with a different local pastor preparing and presenting each day’s devotional. Pastor Tim was given Good Friday. He invited listeners to reflect with him on the torturous reality of the cross and on the depth of love Christ showed by enduring it.
We are excited to celebrate Christ’s victory over sin and death! Our Easter season services are as follows:
March 25 – Palm Sunday (also Cadet Sunday)
10:00 a.m. – Sunday School children commence service with palm branch procession; continuation of Lenten series on The Holy Wild: Trusting in the Character of God
6:00 p.m. – usual evening service
March 30 – Good Friday
7:00 p.m. – Good Friday service, including celebration of Holy Communion/Lord’s Supper
April 1 – Easter
7:00 a.m. – Sunrise service in Fellowship Hall, followed by breakfast (Note: expect to return home between breakfast as the 10:00 a.m. service)
10:00 a.m. – Easter morning service
6:00 p.m. – NO SERVICE
There are no special services on Maundy Thursday (March 29th).
